October 16th, Opening Night Gala

Dear Friends of Bulgarian Concert Evenings,

On behalf of the Jubilee Committee of Bulgarian Concert Evenings, I would like to invite you to explore our new season.

We are hard at work getting ready for our 10th Anniversary Season celebration. Printed materials will be in the mail this week and tickets are already on sale for our Opening Night Gala at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on OCTOBER 16TH, 2014 AT 7:30 PM.

I hope that you will join us at this special celebration where we will be presenting distinguished artists: the concertmaster and principal players of the MET orchestra as well as our own Svet Stoyanov, a sensational percussionist. Anna, Georgy and myself will also be performing in a program featuring Bulgarian and Eastern European-inspired compositions. 

Among our special guests we are expecting the great Bulgarian composer Emil Tabakov as well as Her Excellency Elena Poptodorova, Bulgaria’s ambassador to the United States. Many other Bulgarian and American dignitaries will be joining us for the festivities, sponsored by Mr. Ted Vassilev and Mr. Diko Mihov of American Foundation for Bulgaria. 

As always, all the proceeds from this concert will fund our entire season at the Bulgarian Consulate. 

We hope that you will join us and will help us spread the word about this wonderful event.
