UNION ARTS CENTER HOSTS OPERA BENEFIT FOR MARBLEJAMS KIDS, AN AUTISM NONPROFIT, FRIDAY, APRIL 28 AT 7PM

Enjoy a delightful evening of favorite arias and show tunes along with tasty plates prepared by children with autism assisted by Halo & Horns Kitchen and a complimentary glass of champagne.

Union Arts Center, a first class venue for the arts and culture, a special benefit concert to raise awareness of autism and support autism-related community organizations. The event, titled “Opera on Broadway,” features world-renowned opera singers Anna Veleva  www.annaveleva.com and Alejandro Olmedo www.csopera.org/bio/Alejandro_Olmedo.htm, both of whom have worked with Placido Domingo and sang at famous world concert and theatre stages, including Carnegie Hall. The event will also feature performances by internationally acclaimed pianists Nadejda Vlaeva www.nadejdavlaeva.com and Chris Oldfather.

The concert will feature a special performance by Ananya Gurumurthy, price winner of American Protégé international music competition and student of Anna Veleva.

 A portion of the proceeds benefits Marble Jam Kids Center for Creative Arts Therapy, a 501c3 non-profit organization serving autism and the special needs community.

The event is held in the main hall of the Union Arts Center, 2 Union Street in Sparkill NY, on April 28th at 7pm. Information and tickets sales atuacny.com/event/veleva-benefit-concert/. Admission: $75 online until 10AM the day of the performance and $85 at the door.
