Music for hope
A Benefit Concert for the Children of the Philippines
On November 8, 2013, one of the largest storms in recorded history, Typhoon Haiyan, left many families and their children with unimaginable loss.
As the Christmas Holidays approach, our thoughts are with the communities overseas who are struggling to rebuild their homes and lives.
Our hope is to join in their efforts through a fundraiser with a gathering of hope and music. Let’s bring their children the gifts they need the most this season – shelter, food, water, clothing and medication.
Event organizer and Bulgarian pianist Vlada Yaneva is joined by friends and talented musicians: Matthew Harrison, David Krakauer, Cecee Pantikian, Irena Momchilova, Natalie Pilla, Sarah Zun, Ryan Walsh, Jonathan Levin and Derek Ratzenboeck.
The music of Brahms, Grieg, Dvorak, Chopin, Shostakovich and Poulenc will make the evening a delightful celebration of life!
Please join us and support the cause. We hope to see you there!
