On the occasion of May 24 – the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Day, you are invited to join the celebration of Bulgarian and Slavic Culture and the Creation of the Cyrillic Letters at a Concert which will take place on
Wednesday 1 June 2016, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

The concert will include instrumental and vocal works by Bulgarian, Czech, Croatian, Polish, Serbian, Slovak, Russian, and Ukrainian composers, performed by the mezzo-soprano Pavlina Horáková and the pianists: Javor Bračić, Lora Al Ahmad, Georgi Lekov and Jacob Savransky
In addition to the concert there will be two exhibitions:
“The Bulgarian Czechs” – photo documentary exhibition elaborated by the renowned Bulgarian photographer Mr. Ivo Hadjimishev to commemorate the long-lasting relationship between the Czech and the Bulgarian nations.
“Glagolitic Traces” – cycle of paintings by the Bulgarian artist Antonia Duende. The artist presents the Glagolitic characters in their universal context of code systems -musical scores, Cyrilic, Greek, Latin, Brhami, Tibetan, Nazca lines from Peru and other writings.
