Description

An evening of Bulgarian music, dancing, singing, eating and drinking with Bulgarika!

Celebrate Gergyovden (St. George’s Day) and the spring holidays

Enjoy the fine dance floor and excellent Bulgarian folk music!
Cash bar and delicious traditional Bulgarian food will be for sale by Mila
– Roasted leg of lamb dinner will be advance purchase only. Chicken
and veggy dinners will be available at the event. Menu below.

7pm – Food available and cash bar
8pm – Dance party begins with Bulgarika!

Admission: $18 [no fee] advance purchase / $20 at door
Lamb dinner – advance purchase only – $43 includes admission, lamb dinner, drink & dessert. Menu below.

Bulgarika is:
Vlado Mollov – accordion
Stoyan Kostov – tambura/guitar
Donka Koleva – vocals
Nikolay Kolev – gadulka
Ivailo Kuchev – tupan

Special Gergyovden Menu (Lamb dinner is advance purchase only!)

=Gergyovdenska salata -mixed greens, cucumbers, red radishes, fresh
herbs, hard boiled eggs. Served with traditional garlic yogurt dressing
=Roasted lamb – marinated with traditional herbs and slow roasted legs of lamb
=Drob Sarma – mix of lamb liver, meat, rice, spring greens and herbs – unbelievably delicious!
=Roasted baby potatoes with dill and garlic

=Cream pita – egg and lemon custard between layers of flaky puff pastry.
